Pourasol 4562 Hard

Pourasol™ 4562 Hard

Pourasol is a high-quality, low bubble/low odor formula perfect for the beginner or veteran that doesn't want to deal with micro-bubbles. Pourasol is our best selling and most popular plastisol.  Formulaically identical to InjectasolPourasol has undergone the additional step of being de-aired. Deaeration mitigates the formation of micro-bubbles that can form during the heating process. Pourasol can be used for hand pouring in open molds or hand injecting in aluminum molds.

Recommended Lures for Hard Firmness:

Heating plastisol instructions:

*Always wear safety glasses or a face mask, gloves, closed-toe shoes, and protective clothing or apron to protect against burns and spatters.

Step 1: In a well-ventilated area, pour the appropriate amount of plastisol into an oven-proof container. A glass Pyrex® measuring cup works well.
Step 2: Place the container into the microwave on high for 30 seconds. Use a dedicated microwave for heating plastisol; not one used for food prep.
Step 3: Remove using an oven mitt or similar protection and carefully stir well, preferably with a small metal spatula or something similar. (Do not use a wooden utensil.) The plastisol will appear milky.
Step 4: Repeat Steps 2 and 3 until the plastisol is clear and hot (between 340°F and 360°F). Please note that the plastisol will be very hot and will burn your skin upon contact. Once the plastisol is clear, it is ready to pour.

*DO NOT BURN THE PLASTISOL. If this happens, do not inhale the fumes and immediately evacuate the area until the fumes dissipate.
